This helical gear is manufactured from 20MnCr5, a material commonly used for gears due to its excellent hardenability and toughness. It undergoes carburizing and quenching heat treatment, resulting in a surface hardness of 58–62 HRC, a core hardness of 30–42 HRC, and an effective case depth of 0.30–0.60 mm. This process ensures high wear resistance and bending fatigue strength for the tooth surfaces while maintaining core toughness to prevent tooth breakage under impact loads. With an accuracy grade of 8—representing a mid-range precision level—the gear ensures stable equipment operation and offers excellent cost-effectiveness, providing customers with a transmission solution that balances performance and economy.
