Spur Gear for Industrial Motor

In a spur gear motor, the motor drives a spur gear, which then meshes with another gear to transfer motion. Spur gears’ straight parallel teeth enable maximum transmission efficiency with little energy loss, helping industrial motors run smoothly and energy-efficiently under continuous loads. Unlike helical gears, these spur gears produce no axial thrust during meshing, which drastically reduces wearing to motor bearings and gearbox, prolonging the overall service life of motor units.
