In heavy-duty linear drives, reliability and performance are paramount, and our worm gear drive is the ideal choice for ball screw jacks. This component is meticulously designed to ensure smooth torque delivery, high positioning accuracy, and long service life even under harsh conditions.
The worm gear, made of CuSn12Ni2 (bronze alloy), offers excellent wear resistance, a low coefficient of friction, and superior anti-galling properties. The worm shaft, made of 42CrMo (chromium-molybdenum steel), boasts high tensile strength, high toughness, and excellent fatigue resistance. The CuSn12Ni2 bronze worm gear perfectly matches the hardened 42CrMo steel worm, minimizing friction and heat generation. The worm shaft (240–280 HB) is QT-treated to effectively resist surface pitting and wear, while the inherent lubricity of the bronze alloy extends maintenance intervals.
Precision grades: worm gear is DIN 8, worm is DIN 6. This precise matching ensures smooth meshing, minimal backlash, and stable positioning accuracy in the ball screw jack system. This is crucial for synchronous multi-lift systems where multiple lifts must move in perfect synchronization. Backlash is kept to a minimum, thus improving repeatability in positioning applications such as assembly lines, lifting platforms, or industrial presses.
Each gear set is manufactured under stringent quality control to ensure compliance with European standards. Robust and durable materials, precise heat treatment processes, and proven precision levels make this worm gear a reliable component for ball screw jacks in automation, material handling, and heavy machinery applications.
